Let's Take a Closer Look Within Phnom Penh, Cambodia

Cambodia was such a fascinating country to visit. If I were to describe it in a short phrase, it would be "mind-boggling". Their culture was greatly shaped by many factors. Like many Asian countries, Cambodia is home to many beautiful and intricate temples suggesting religion may have played a role in shaping its culture. However, the grim and red-tinged Khmer Rouge also played a critical part in the country. Its effects are still felt and the Cambodians are struggling but fighting to move on from its past, at the same time adapting with the rapid changes in economic landscapes. The country is trying to grow out of the past and striving to ride the tides of the present and of the future.

Here are some photos during our trip to Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Alex and I explored the city and found this golden temple.
